Laura Moisey-Gray

Laura is a British violist finishing her BMus at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, studying with Rivka Golani, as a Trinity College London Scholar. She enjoys working on repertoire from a wide variety of genres and time periods. She is the violist of the Creekside String Quartet and Rosewood Trio.
As a violist, Laura is an accomplished orchestral and chamber musician. She is also experienced in recording sessions and musical theatre.

Laura is also a singer, experienced in many styles including classical and musical theatre. She holds an alto scholarship at the Old Royal Naval College Trinity Laban Chapel Choir, under the direction of Ralph Allwood and previously held a treble scholarship at All Saints’ Church Leighton Buzzard. She studies singing with Sara Parry as a mezzo soprano, for second study alongside her viola studies at Trinity Laban.
Alongside playing, Laura also enjoys arranging and orchestrating music (primarily chamber), which has mostly been for ensembles she has played in. Previous arrangements include Jerusalem the Golden for String Quartet and SATB, Blame it on the Boogie for String Quartet, and What is this Feeling (Wicked) for brass and strings.
